Football fans are invited to join Leyton Orient legend Peter Kitchen on a walking tour of the club’s history.
The former footballer will meet Leyton Orient Supporters Club and anyone who wishes to join them at their headquarters in Oliver Road in Leyton at 10am this Sunday before walking across to Hackney Marshes and up Lea Bridge Road to where the Os started life in 1881.
The free eight-mile heritage walk will then visit the sites of the club’s former stadiums, Millfields Road and Lea Bridge Stadium.
Those who want to join the walk should bring sturdy shoes, waterproof clothing and a packed lunch.
