CRAYFORD will soon have a new place to hang out when the Crayford Community Centre opens it doors later this month.
Boasting indoor and outdoor spaces, the centre - which is above Crayford Library in Town Hall Square - has been described as "a real gem for the locality."
Bexley Council's cabinet member for leisure Councillor Don Massey said: "It is a real gem for the locality, offering modern, spacious and welcoming facilities to the community.
"It is a valuable asset for local groups, residents and businesses alike."
The large hall is perfect for dance, keep fit and martial arts classes as well as community meetings.
As well as the hall, the centre has a spacious meeting room that can be hired whilst for those wishing to offer refreshments, there is also a fully-equipped kitchen.
A viewing afternoon will run between midday and 4pm on April 13.
