Thamesmead street death: Investigation due today

THE post-mortem investigation into the death of a 29-year-old man who was found in a Thamesmead street is due to take place today. (March 21)
Emergency services were called to Redpoll Way, on the Parkview Estate, to reports of a man collapsed on the pavement in the early hours of Sunday morning. (March 17)
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 2.15am. An inquest into his death is expected to open and be adjourned before the end of the week.
Bexley police are not treating the death as suspicious.
