Hundreds of young football players are gearing up to go head to head in a charity tournament this weekend.
Forty youth teams ranging from under eights to under 11s are expected to play in the all-day event in Enfield Cricket Club in Lincoln Road on Sunday.
Daniel Moss, who is organising the second annual tournament as chairman and founder of Broomfield Youth Football Club, hopes the day could raise up to £15,000 for charities Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research and Team Olivia.
He said: "I am convinced that by instilling more charity into our culture, the newest generation of young people will become encouraged and educated into the power of supporting others.
“At Broomfield, we use football as our tool to motivate, inspire and educate.”
