Man found lying in Thames Ditton street dies in hospital

A man has died in hospital after being found lying in a Thames Ditton road this morning.
Surrey Police were called to Speer Road, at 7.14am, after a man was found lying in the road about 200 yards from Thames Ditton station.
The man, said to be in his late 30s, was taken to St George’s Hospital but has since died.
A Surrey police spokesman said: “Enquiries to establish circumstances surrounding the death are ongoing.
"At this stage the death is being treated as unexplained pending the results of a post-mortem examination.”
