Staff costume capers raise hundreds for Comic Relief
A killer whale, bag of popcorn, bumble bee and giant bunny rabbit were just some of the colourful characters on parade at Wimbledon Studios this week.
Staff made the best of the studio's extensive wardrobe by dressing up in some of its costumes to raise money for Comic Relief on Friday raising £319.28.
The outfits were from the studio's Wimbledon Wear wardrobe - a costume hire service for film, television and theatre clients as well as the public - which launched at the studios in February.
The department has over 45,000 costumes housed in 8,000 square foot room featuring costumes from shows including iconic police drama The Bill, Sky 1 series’ Starlings, and Spy to BBC sketch show Watson & Oliver.
