During his tenure Mr Motley has helped at many Sparks’ golf events and annual balls, looking after the likes of Sir Steve Redgrave and Sir Matthew Pinsent along with personalities from television and radio.

When asked why he joined Sparks he cited the entry requirements of being interested in sport and helping raise funds for children’s health.

He said: “Right away I knew I would fit in as I valued the Sparks’ ideals and the great work they do funding for children’s health.”
