Nurse jumps from plane for Princess Alice Hospice
A Princess Alice Hospice nurse will jump out of a plane in a tandem skydive next month.
Sue Parrott, 52, from Fetcham, a staff nurse on the in-patient ward, has worked at the Esher based hospice for four year.
Mrs Parrott will be joined on her challenge by a flock of Parrotts, namely her daughters Charlie and Tia, and her son-in-law Nick Christie.
Her nervous husband Andrew will be keeping his feet firmly on the ground and will be cheering them on from terra firma.
Mrs Parrott said: “It is wonderful to have my children joining me on this challenge. We are all in it together. We believe the family that fundraises and jumps together, stays together.
“My connection to the charity and the knowledge that my fundraising will make a difference is a great motivator and will spur me on to jump.
“I am very proud that my family have decided to join in the fun and support such an important cause.”
The group skydive on Sunday, April 28, will be the second of the year in aid of Princess Alice Hospice, with others set for June, August and September.
