Repeat offender from St Mary Cray jailed for Orpington car theft

TWO car thieves from St Mary Cray - one of whom was jailed for fraud two years ago - have been jailed after being captured on CCTV stealing a car.
Amos Vincent, 30, and Jason Webb, 26, both of Teal Avenue, were jailed for 21 months each after pleading guilty at Croydon Crown Court to theft of a motor vehicle, theft and attempted burglary.
On the evening of November 5 last year, the occupants of a house in Gilman's Way, Orpington, were woken by their house alarm.
They found their front door open and their Land Rover Discovery - that had been parked outside - missing. Vincent and Webb were identified by police officers from CCTV in the area and arrested.
The stolen vehicle was later found in Leicestershire bearing false number plates, having been sold via an ad in Auto Trader for £19,200.
Vincent was previously sentenced to 40 months in prison in February 2011 after trying to con elderly people into handing over thousands of pounds for unnecessary home repairs.

He got 40 months in 2011 for trying to con elderly people (shows what scum he is) so he did less than half if he committed this crime in November
And now getting 21 months - be out by Christmas

Doesn't take a professor to work out what we are dealing with here.

Presumably he only did half, so had just got out & starts criminal activities straight away. 21 months for this, back on the streets again by Christmas
