A father convicted of raping his stepdaughter and sexually abusing his daughter is due to be sentenced today.
The man, from Enfield, was found guilty at Wood Green Crown Court last month of nine counts of sexual abuse and rape against the girls in Edmonton in the 1980s, who were both under 13.
He was remanded in custody after the jury reached a guilty verdict and was warned by Judge Rosa Dean to expect a “very lengthy” custodial sentence.
The man cannot be named to protect the victims’ anonymity.
