Greece is the word with Unmythable performance
Fresh from last year’s Edinburgh Festival, the Rose Theatre is putting on a show not to be mythed.
Temple Theatre brings its 2012 Fringe hit Unmythable to Kingston this Monday, March 11.
A riotous re-telling of the great Greek myths, the 70-minute show encompasses everyone from Jason and the Argonauts to King Midas, Medusa and Odysseus.
Combining theatre, storytelling, comedy and songs, the show follows the aforementioned Jason on his quest for the Golden Fleece.
On his journey, he encounters all the great mythical heroes and villains, plus a few lesser known characters from Greek legend.
Directed by Mike Tweddle, Unmythable is performed by just three actors – Troels Hagen Findsen, Paul O’Mahoney and William Pinchin.
The show garnered rave reviews during its Edinburgh run, and was awarded a ThreeWeeks Editors’ Award.
Make sure you get on board before Unmythable sets sail to its spiritual home of Greece following the completion of the UK tour.
