More than 70 young people will represent youth projects from across Surrey and celebrate the grants they received from the High Sheriff Youth Awards scheme.
Joined by their supporters and watched by Surrey leaders on Wednesday, March 13, six projects will take the stage and give presentations highlighting the importance of the £53,000 of funding given to 50 different projects in the past year.
Among those featured will be young people not in employment, education or training (Neet), who will speak about the skills they are learning at the Carpentry Co-operative at Walton Youth Centre.
The Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey, Dame Sarah Goad, the chairman of Surrey County Council and mayors from the borough councils, are due to attend.
