Soon-to-be star: Charlotte Banks, 13, will sing for a place in the national final
A talented teenager has made it to the regional finals of a national talent competition.
Charlotte Banks is one of thousands of teenage singers, songwriters, rappers and vocalists from across the country battling it out to win TeenStar.
The 13-year-old from Teddington impressed judges enough to make it through to the regional finals, which will be held in an X Factor-style format at the Beck Theatre in Hayes on Saturday, March 16.
The competition will give the aspiring star the chance to be signed by Future Music and to perform in front of hundreds at the national final at London’s O2 arena.
The schoolgirl, who has had no formal singing training, could also get the opportunity to impress industry experts including judges from BBC Introducing.
