A Formula 1 legend roared into town on Saturday to help launch a car dealership's new premises.
Sir Stirling Moss, known as Mr Motor Racing, signed books at the opening of Shelly Motors in Longmead Industrial Estate, Epsom.
Moss won 212 of the 375 competitive races in which he finished over his career that started in 1948 and ended with a near-fatal accident in 1962.
Visitor Valerie Dormans said: "He is legendary - really charming and lovely, taking his time with each person. He was well worth the wait."
More than 1,000 people turned out for the event, which included a charity car wash and bouncy castle, in aid of Red Nose Day.
The company was delighted with the turnout and support from clients old and new.
Andrew Shelly, managing director of Shelly Motors previously called Lovekyn, said: "The bigger site will ensure that our customers continue to get the best service and cars on offer, but in a more refreshing and sleek environment."
