A cancer charity is asking people to raise money in the best way possible – by simply getting together.

The Mulberry Centre is calling on offices, schools and groups across the borough to take part in the very first Great Big Get Together (GBGT) in March.

GBGT is a chance for people to take time out, have a chat and fundraise for local people affected by cancer.

The Mulberry Centre, based at West Middlesex Hospital, provides practical and emotional support for cancer patients, their families and carers.

All the money raised from the event at Radnor House School will help the Mulberry Centre continue to provide free support to anyone affected by cancer.

Mulberry Centre user Betty Triggs, from Hampton, said: “The Mulberry Centre helped me so much as I was able to get together with others who were in the many different stages of cancer treatment and recovery.”
