TWO lanes of the London-bound M20 have re-opened after a lorry crashed down the embankment near Farningham this morning.

Motorists faced rush hour chaos after the road was shut between junction three at the M26 and junction three at the Swanley Interchange at 5:45am this morning.

Two of the lanes re-opened shortly after 12:30pm but one remains closed while barrier repairs are carried out.

No one was injured in the crash.

Why couldn't they just shut the near side lane off and have a speed restriction? Chaos everywhere this morning for one lorry?

The driver is fine, it says noone was injured. This motorway could have all stayed open and the lorry could have been removed safely and without causing disruption at 3am. I think some of the emergency services people get carried away with what they do and overeact.

Could have been a English driver in a Italian registered Lorry. Either way another foreign driver crashes again. If they had our driving tests, None of them would pass.

Do you have the stats of English drivers that crash in foreign countries?
