Little Britain star David Walliams spent time with students at Richmond Park Academy when researching his new sitcom.
Walliams will play a chemistry teacher in the BBC’s Autumn Leaves, a new sitcom set in a secondary school.
The star spent time in the library last month and signed copies of his books, while six students who had read all the books in the series met him.
Walliams took part in a science lesson, observed PE and drama classes, and had coffee in the student restaurant.
A letter sent to the school after the visit said Walliams and his team were hugely impressed by the school and the pupils.
