BROMLEY residents are being encouraged to nominate local sporting stars for a prize.
Pro-Active London is running its annual competition to recognise athletic heroes, coaches, volunteers and clubs.
The awards are organised by the five county cports partnerships that make up Pro-Active London and are thought to be the only prizes that celebrate community sport and physical activity across the capital.
There are eight categories including Club of the Year, Coach of the Year and Inclusive Champion of the Year and it is hoped the prizes will highlight the diversity of sport in London.
Last year's winner of Coach of the Year Pierre Aghabala is a rugby league coach who worked across schools, colleges and universities in Bromley as well as Croydon, Merton and Wandsworth.
Nominations are now open and will run until February 20.
