A 43-year old Surbiton man has been arrested after police seized large quantities of cocaine yesterday.
Eight people were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs after police searched a business in Egham and a property in Staines.
Officers found more than 20 kilos of cocaine.
Detective chief inspector Richard Clay said: "This operational activity is part of Surrey Police's continued crackdown on organised crime and has resulted in a significant quantity of suspected Class A drugs being prevented from entering the streets of Surrey."
A 54-year-old man and 60-year-old woman from Staines, a 28-year-old man from Basingstoke, a 52-year-old man and a 25-year-old man from Hayes, a 34-year-old man from Egham, a 37-year-old man from West Drayton and a 43-year-old man from Surbiton all remain in custody.
