A body has been found in the search for a man who has been missing since Saturday.

A search team discovered the body at about 2.30pm yesterday in a remote and isolated wooded area near Cuddington Glade in Epsom.

Michael Sullivan, 60, went missing from the Horton Lane area of Epsom around 6pm on Saturday, 2 February. His carers said there were concerns he could become agitated if he did not take medication.

The body was found by Surrey Search and Rescue Service in a remote and isolated wooded area a few hundred yards from Horton Lane.

The death is being treated as unexplained but there is not thought to be any third party involvement.

Police thanked the public for their help in the search for Mr Sullivan.
