A BEXLEY Council scheme offering home support to people with learning disabilities has received a top rating.
Following an unannounced inspection in December, Bexley’s Community Living and Support Scheme met all five key standards during an inspection from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
As part of the inspection, the CQC team spoke to service users as well as their family and reviewed their records.
Users told inspectors they were “very happy” with the scheme and the inspection found people were treated with dignity and respect.
Bexley Councils cabinet member for adults’ services Councillor Chris Taylor said: “I’m delighted people who use the service, their carers and family are happy with the service.
“The service provides people with the support they need, a good quality of life and independence and I would like to thank all the staff whose hard work and commitment makes it a success.”
