A promotional banner has been stolen from the Royal Star and Garter.

The large blue banner, there to promote the 13.1 Richmond half marathon, disappeared from outside the home in Richmond Hill last weekend.

Director of fundraising and marketing for the Royal Star and Garter Homes Gordon Craig said: “We certainly want it back. It is there to promote the Richmond half marathon for our charity.”

The Royal Star and Garter Charity provides nursing and therapeutic care to the ex-service community.

The half marathon, organised by Perseverance Events, is the first in Richmond and takes place on March 31.
