A NEW Cross teenager has denied murdering Kevin Ssali in Lee after a row on a bus.

Kevin, 14, from South Norwood, died following the attack in Burnt Ash Road, Lee, on September 15.

The Crown Woods College pupil was taken to hospital by ambulance but died a short while later.

A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as a single stab wound to the heart.

Today, a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at the Old Bailey where he denied murdering Kevin.

He was remanded in custody for trial on June 24.
