Teachers, parents and students alike will be looking with interest at secondary school league tables published today.
St John’s School, in Epsom Road, Leatherhead, will be celebrating being around 120 schools across the country to see 100 percent of students achieve five A*-C GCSEs.
City of London Freemen's School, in Ashtead Park, was close behind with 97 percent of students getting five good GCSEs including maths and English.
Close on their heels Epsom College, in College Road, Epsom, and Greenacre School for Girls, in Sutton Lane, Banstead, both had 95 percent of students gain five A*-C GCSEs.
City of London Freemen's School pupils also managed to get an average point score of 1010.8 at AS/A-level just above 933.6 at Epsom College and 862.5 at St John’s.
