POLICE have thanked News Shopper readers after an online appeal led to a man's arrest - but they are still hunting two more people.
Within hours of Greenwich police's appeal on our website, a man was arrested over allegations of racially aggravated offences and criminal damage in Charlton Church Lane and Charlton Park Lane.
But officers still want to trace two men over a separate incident from August 22 last year when a victim was attacked in Well Hall Road, Eltham.
Police would like to speak to Liam Braithwaite, aged 21, from Greenwich, together with 51-year-old Graham Stone, who has connections in south London.
Detective Chief Inspector Mike Gammons from Greenwich police said: "We would like to thank News Shopper and its readers for their assistance with our appeal.
"We are extremely grateful to anyone who can assist and provide us with intelligence."
Anyone with information should call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or Greenwich Wanted Persons on 020 3276 0750.
