Enfield Post Office refurbishment to take place next month

A Post Office will be closed for more than a week while it is refurbished.

Enfield Post Office, in Church Street, will close next month for work to install seven new serving stations.

The refurbishment will take place from Tuesday February 12 to Thursday February 21 and the post office will reopen on the Friday at 9am.

While the office is closed the company is advising people to use their nearest alternative branches in High Street, Ponders End, and Lancaster Road.

Mark Lawrence, from the Post Office said: “We understand how important having a post office is to residents in Enfield and we are confident that this new modern service will meet the needs of the local community and secure services for the future.”
