BEXLEYHEATH and Crayford MP David Evennett has honoured those who died in the Holocaust by adding a message to a Book of Commitment.

The Holocaust Educational Trust placed the book in the House of Commons and MPs have been encouraged to write in it as Holocaust Memorial Day approaches.

Through writing the inscription ‘never forget’, Mr Evennett has shown his commitment to encouraging constituents to work together in a bid to combat prejudice and racism today.

Mr Evennett said: “Holocaust Memorial Day is an opportunity to remember the victims of the Holocaust and subsequent genocides.

“It’s vitally important we never forget the pain and suffering these caused in the past, challenge prejudice and discrimination, and act to combat the atrocities that still take place in some countries today.”

Commemorative events will be arranged by schools and faith groups across the country in the lead up to Holocaust Memorial Day on January 27.

"challenge prejudice and discrimination"

Hypocrite Evennett, shame you never thought that way about gay marriage.

Shalom, we must never forget the Holocaust.
