Crayford charity headquarters receive visit from Bexleyheath MP

STAFF working at the headquarters of a national charity in Crayford enjoyed a visit from their MP David Evennett.

The Bexleyheath and Crayford MP visited Sense Trading in the Bourne Road Industrial Park, which deals with the retail aspect of national charity Sense, who support deaf and blind children.

From this headquarters, the charity’s 90 shops nationwide and eBay business empire and managed.

Meeting with the director of Sense Trading Adrian Barker, Mr Evennett enjoyed a guided tour of the building and warehouse where he met several staff members.

Mr Evennett said: "Retail makes up a significant proportion of charities' incomes and is an important source of revenue.

“I was pleased to go behind the scenes to learn more about Sense's their retail operation and meet those who work hard to support their shops."
