CYCLING fans have the chance to meet and ride alongside Olympic hero Sir Chris Hoy in Gravesend.

The 11-time world champion, six-time Olympic champion and a winner of seven Olympic medals, will be at the Cyclopark on Wednesday, January 16.

Sir Chris will be test riding his own new brand of Hoy Bikes at the Wrotham Road park between 3 and 4pm.

Laurence Tricker, CEO of Cyclopark which opened in Gravesend in May, last year, said: “Opportunities don’t come along very often and we will do all we can to ensure that he is made very welcome.”

Someone better tell him to keep them bikes chained up rund Gravesend or they will go on the missing list.
