Snooker ‘whirlwind’ Jimmy White teamed up with MP Chris Grayling to open an innovative new medical imaging centre.
The Clock House Alliance Imaging Centre, in Dorking Road, Epsom, is a new centre providing private and NHS out-patients with MRI scans, x-rays and ultrasound services.
Mr Grayling opened the Clock House Diagnostic Centre building, while snooker legend White launched a new cardiac enabled MRI scanner.
The mayor of Epsom and Ewell, Councillor Christine Long, also attended.
Bill Cassidy, managing director of Clock House Healthcare Limited, said: "With nearly 11,000 patients currently on the waiting list for an MRI scan in the South East alone, we are tremendously excited by the potential for this outstanding facility in helping to ensure that those in the area get faster treatment at the right time in a pleasant environment."
