A scuba diving club has helped dozens of disabled youngsters explore the underwater world.
Divers at Teddington Sub Aqua Club have marked six years of scuba lessons for disabled youngsters at Teddington pool.
The group started the lessons after swimming instructor Wendy Dorgan noticed her pupils, who have learning and physical disabilities, were fascinated by a diver practising nearby.
She said: “My autistic pupils were absolutely fascinated. I thought it would be amazing if they could have a go at diving themselves.
“We have been holding the sessions every year since. The reaction from the youngsters has been fascinating and many of them have picked it up amazingly quickly.”
