POLICE are appealing for help tracing a prisoner from Dartford who has absconded from custody.
Twenty-nine-year-old Nicky Gale went missing from Standford Hill prison in Sheppey on Wednesday (January 2) and is said to be “unlawfully at large.”
He absconded at the same time as Anthony Hogan, aged 50, from south London and police will not rule out the possibility they could have left together.
HMP Standford Hill is an open prison for category D prisoners that are near the end of their sentence.
Gale is described as 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build and bald.
He also has two scars, one of his left temple and another on his left hand.
Hogan is 5ft 7ins tall, of medium build and is balding with grey hair.
If anyone sees either Hogan or Gale, or has any information about their whereabouts, they should contact police on 999.
Members of the public are advised not to approach either man.
