A SIDCUP man who died in a car crash on Boxing Day was due to attend his only daughter’s wedding the next day.
Father-of-three Paul Clark, aged 51, died when his silver Vauxhall Vectra was involved in a crash on the M20 close to Farningham.
The incident happened on the London-bound carriageway between Junction 2 at Cooper’s Wood and Junction 1 at Swanley, where the M20 joins the M25.
His widow Tracie Clark said in a statement: “Paul Clark, 51-years-old, devoted husband and father to three children, died on Boxing Day night in a fatal car accident.
“It was the eve of his only daughter's wedding, which was to be held at Chilston Park Hotel in Lenham, Maidstone.
“Everyone who ever met Paul was touched by his infectious sense of humour and his immense love for all his family and special friends.”
She added: “Life will never be the same again.”
Police are appealing for anyone else who witnessed the accident to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538.
