Police searching for Bedford Rascal van after windows smashed in Northfleet

POLICE are searching for a van driver after three vehicles had their windows smashed in Northfleet on Saturday night (December 29).
Officers are keen to speak with the driver and passenger of a blue Bedford Rascal van seen driving in the Coldharbour and Painters Ash wards in connection with at least three reports of criminal damage.
According to police, the blue van had one short ladder and one longer ladder on the roof rack at the time.
The first incident occurred between 8pm and 8:15pm, when a white Iveco van had a window smashed whilst parked in Lanes Avenue, Northfleet.
Between 8pm and 8:30pm, a blue Peugeot 407 that was parked on Grieves Road, Northfleet, also had a window smashed.
Later on the same night, at 10:15pm, a window was smashed in a Mercedes Benz Sprinter van that was parked on Lanes Avenue, Northfleet.
Two further reports of criminal damage in Gravesend on the same evening could also be linked to the Bedford Rascal van.
