KENT drugs squads have raided a cannabis farm in Northfleet, discovering £290,000 worth of drugs.

They conducted the search at a warehouse in Grove Road, at 6pm on November 28, after an anonymous tip-off.

Between 300 and 500 plants were discovered worth up to £200,000.

20 kilos of dried cannabis were also found worth around £90,000.

North Division’s drugs liaison officer, Adrian Parsons, said: "There was a significant number of plants and dried cannabis seized.

“Most of our finds are residential dwellings and it is fairly unusual to come across one that is a commercial set-up."
