Pupils swapped blackboards for chess boards this week during an inter-school competition.
Children from fifteen schools played chess at Lavender Primary School in Lavender Road in Forty Hill from 9am on Tuesday.
The Deputy Mayor of Enfield, Councillor Chaudhury Anwar, visited the school in the afternoon to meet competitors and present awards to the winning teams.
