Paul Lamb has forged himself into the history books as one of the greatest harmonica players of our time, and he and his Kingsnakes are coming to Twickenham.

The group have toured with greats such as The Who, Rod Stewart and Jimmy Nail and have won British Blues Band of the Year several times.

Harmonica enthusiast Paul Lamb says the group are looking forward to playing at the Eel Pie.

He says: “It’s quite a famous place really. Right from the 1960s, people like the Stones used to play there. I’m really excited about it.”

A ticket to see the five-piece in Twickenham will see 5 per cent donated to the Princess Alice Hospice in Esher and Lamb says crowds can expect an up-beat night.

He says: “The harmonica brings an R ‘n’ B jumpy sound. It will be a good night. It’s good time music.”

He says the band have their own sound, but have been influenced by 50s music such as Muddy Waters.

The band, which has been going for 40 years, also features Lamb’s son, who lives in Belgium and plays guitar.
