A CANNABIS factory has been uncovered after a raid at a property in St Paul’s Cray.
On November 23 the Cray Valley East and West Safer Neighbourhood Teams, acting on intelligence received from residents, raided the semi-detached house in Rinnshall Road.
Police recovered a quantity of cannabis plants, along with large amounts of cash and further drugs secreted throughout the property.
A 24-year-old male was arrested at the address on suspicion of production of cannabis and extraction of electricity.
PC Emma Mitchell of the Cray Valley East SNT said: "This is a prime example of local officers working closely with the community to deliver results.
“Drugs are an area of concern to residents and this is reflected in the public consultation conducted by our Safer Neighbourhood Teams.”

Can anyone honestly say that they haven't ever smoked a joint?
What's the difference? I'll tell you.
One is a drug that makes people abusive, violent and shortens their lives but provides lots and lots of tax for the government coffers.
The other drug is called cannabis.
