Alleged Petts Wood car thieves ran into Bromley police station in 'none too bright' escape bid

TWO alleged car thieves have been arrested after running into Bromley police station whilst trying to escape officers who were chasing them.
Police spotted a car which had earlier been reported stolen from Petts Wood on Friday evening, being driven in Mottingham at around 2.45am on Saturday.
The vehicle failed to stop for police and was pursued into the Bromley South area where it turned into an unnamed dead-end slip road which leads to Waitrose by Bromley police station.
In an attempt to flee from officers, the occupants got out the car and ran into the station's front office where they were immediately arrested.
A 17-year-old boy from Mottingham and a 14-year-old boy from Lewisham have been charged with theft of a motor vehicle and various driving offences.
They have been bailed and are due to appear at Bromley Youth Court on December 4.
On Monday morning Bromley police’s Twitter feed posted a message about the incident on the social networking site, using the hashtag “nonetoobright”, which was retweeted 52 times.

'Dyslexia' is quite common and sociably acceptable in the youth of both areas.
I blame the parents.

From their prospective, it could have been a double bluff, in that they thought that hiding in the building may have made the officers think they may have ran past….hoping that the officers thought “no-way they would have ran in there” (this is on the premise that the officers giving chase, were not that close behind them….and that I don’t know where Waitrose and the Police station is)!

Well it is to us Lord Piggott. Old skool like innit. Proper geezers.
For instance: If a church roof has 300 lead tiles on the stretch and 40 on the drop, how much would they make once they are melted down at today's scrap.
It's basic stuff, ain't it, boi?

Tip-top what planet you from??
......re my comment, I'm a nutter, simple as, but having spoken with a few OB in the past, they are pretty dense.....like most professions, you do get the odd few that let everyone else down, but the local constabulary seem to have more than their fair share in that department.
