Visitors to Wimbledon’s first ever frost fayre were given a dose of Christmas spirit.
Showcasing local arts, crafts, food and other artisan products, the fayre featured more than 30 stalls and a petting zoo with visitors enjoying live music and carol singing, food and refreshments.
Merton’s deputy mayor, Councillor John Bowcott, and mayoress were both in attendance at the event held at St Mark’s Church Hall in Wimbledon on Saturday.
The event was organised by Victoria Nicol, founder of local business network Mums on the Go, in partnership with the future Merton team at Merton Council.
