YOU know it’s nearly Christmas when the iconic Coca Cola truck appears in a snowy and glittering scene on a television advert.

And although holidays may not actually be coming for another six weeks, Christmas will arrive in the News Shopper before the end of the month.

The much-loved Coca Cola lorry is set to make special guest appearances in Gravesend and Thamesmead.

On November 21, the truck will stop by at the Asda store in Gravesend from 1pm.

The following day, it will brighten the afternoon for shoppers at the Morrison’s store in Twin Tumps Way, Thamesmead.

Festive shoppers will have the opportunity to grab that ultimate Facebook profile picture to use throughout December by posing alongside the giant red truck.

But for those who refuse to get into that Christmas spirit until December, the truck will be back in our area in then.

On December 8 and 9 the truck will be at the O2 Arena in North Greenwich and two days later on December 11, it will be at Bluewater Shopping Centre.

Marketing director for Coca‐Cola Zoe Howorth said “Coca Cola has a rich history of spreading Christmas joy through our marketing campaigns, with our Holidays are Coming ad and truck which are loved across the world.

“We’re excited to be joining together with consumers in the countdown to Christmas and sprinkling some Coca Cola Christmas magic.”

The Holidays are Coming Christmas advert is set to get its first play during the X Factor on ITV tomorrow (November 10) evening.
