Video: Racist rant by woman on Woolwich Arsenal to Abbey Wood train posted on YouTube

Do you know this woman? Do you know this woman?

BRITISH Transport Police (BTP) are appealing for witnesses after a YouTube video appeared showing a woman racially abusing passengers on a train. BEWARE - VIDEO BELOW CONTAINS OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE.

Officers have released CCTV images of a woman they would like to speak to about the incident, believed to have taken place on a Woolwich Arsenal to Abbey Wood train yesterday (October 30).

Investigating officer, Detective Inspector Jeremy Walley, said: "We have isolated CCTV images of a woman we believe may be able to help us with our investigation into the incident, which took place around 3.20pm.

"At this stage, we urge anyone who witnessed this incident, or who recognises the woman, to get in touch and help us build up a full picture of exactly what took place.

"We treat all allegations of racism very seriously and urge anyone with information about this incident to contact us."

Anyone with information should call 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference B4 LSA of 31/10/2012.

A shame someone on the train didn't call the police and at least follow her until they arrived. Then she would have been dealt with!

Best thing to do is give her community service working with ethnic minorities - it may make a lighbulb go on in her head.

Well it seems at least she has been found. Thanks to Daybreak this morning their viewers will think that all people from Abbey Wood and even possibly South East London are racist. They need to be updated as it seems after reading further article in NS about this that the woman in question actually comes from Slade Green!

What's "interesting" is the number of racist females caught on film recently - there was the lady in the Croydon area (very similar to this one) and another on the tube....all shouting their mouths off.

I'm not for one minute suggesting that there are now more female racists - but you rarely see a lone bloke shouting this bile on a train (they normally wait till they've got their BNP/EDL mates backing them up)

Do these women feel they're untouchable, that there's little chance of getting their head kicked in - which would probably happen if a bloke started spouting off.

Just an observation....

This is the age of equality lol. Go out clubbing any weekend evening and you'll see women are routinely showing they can be just as nasty, drunken, obnoxious and aggressive as men. I think many do feel they're 'untouchable'...

"racism" works boths ways as some ethnic minorities do not quite understand that bit, they wrongly think only white people can be racist ive heard derogatory/slang names being used in the workplace towards white people behind their backs and ive even heard someone say "they do not like white people" in the canteen! and if you google search these transport racist tirades there are black people abusing white people on the system as well,two wrongs dont make a right but people should understand racism works in both directions in society

Why be ashamed to say it if that is your opinion?
