Reward to catch Sally Anne's killer
 |
| Sally Anne died after being stabbed repeatedly. |
DETECTIVES investigating the murder of Croydon model Sally Anne Bowman are offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and prosecution of her killer.
The man leading the investigation into the 18-year-old's death, Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Cundy, today said: "Every piece of information, no matter how apparently insignificant, could provide vital evidence or a new point for further investigation.
"I would appeal to anyone who has any information about this case to please contact me in the incident room."
Blonde Sally Anne was found outside her home in Blenheim Crescent in the early hours of Sunday September 25.
She had been sexually assaulted and stabbed several times after a night clubbing with friends.
Using DNA evidence taken from the scene police were able to link the attack to another sexual assault which took place in nearby Purley in 2001.

The crime may also be connected to at least six other attacks in the south west London area.
And detectives also believe that the brutal attack may be linked to a robbery which took place an hour before the murder.
Before Sally Anne's body was discovered a 36-year-old woman was robbed in Stanstead Road by a man who attacked her with an iron bar.
The man suspected of murdering Sally Anne is described as a white man in his 20s or 30s, between 5 ft 9 in. - 6 ft, of proportionate build and with short dark hair. He is clean-shaven. It is thought he was wearing dark jeans or trousers and a long-sleeved top.
Anyone with information should call the incident room on 020 8721 4005; if you wish to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
