A further two men have been arrested in connection with the death of teenager Iyke Nmezu, who was murdered with a brick in February.

A 21-year-old and a 20-year-old man, both from Essex, have been arrested in connection with perverting the course of justice. Both currently remain in custody.

This brings the total number of arrests to six.

18-year-old Liam Palmer, of Thaxted Essex, has been charged with murder and will appear at the Old Bailey on June 13.

Mr Nmezu, who was 16, was assaulted with a brick by three men in High Street, Ponders End and died a week later from a fractured skull.
