Personal Overview - A narrow winner at the General Election of 1997 who vastly improved his position at subsequent outings. He has quickly become a Liberal Democrat Spokesman, with experience as an economic advisor and management consultant, having made several speeches on tax and finance issues. In recent years he has been set fair for continued promotion within Liberal Democrat ranks. Within the party he has also been Chairman of it's Campaigns and Communications Committee which is responsible for preparing the party for the next general election. Is notable for being awarded by the Royal Humane Society for saving a woman who had fallen onto the train tracks at a London train station in 1994. Supports Notts County FC and Kingstonian FC.
