To coincide with Bugs Bunny 65th birthday a new gallery will open in central London in remembrance of Chuck Jones.
'The Art of Chuck Jones' exhibit at The Animation Art Gallery will include original pencil drawings and production cells signed by the man himself, and will run from March 14 to April 3.
On March 20 Mr Jones' daughter, Linda Jones, will be available to talk about her father's career, sign artwork, and hand-embellish her own limited edition canvases.
In a career spanning over 60 years, Jones made more than 300 animated films, winning three Oscars as director and in 1996 an honorary Oscar for Lifetime Achievement.
He brought to life the 'Looney Tunes' - Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, and created Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, Marvin Martian, Pepe le Pew, Michigan J. Frog and many others.
He also produced, directed and wrote the screenplays for 'Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas', a television classic, as well as the feature-length film 'The Phantom Tollbooth'. In addition, Jones was a prolific artist whose work has been exhibited at galleries and museums worldwide.
