WEST WICKHAM: Allegri Singers perform French choral music

AN AUDIENCE of classical music lovers braved frost and icy weather to hear the Allegri Singers perform French choral music at the St Francis of Assisi Church in West Wickham.
The concert opened with a performance of Poulenc’s moving Litanies à la Vierge Noire de Rocamadour and closed with a joint performance by musicians from the Bromley Youth Music Trust.
The choir will perform English anthems at the church in Ravenswood Avenue on March 27 at 7.45pm. Call 020 8857 0308 for more information and to book tickets.
