Itinerary

Day One

Leaving the local area in the early morning we'll head to Royal Windsor. Wander the pretty streets of this lovely riverside town, or pre-purchase tickets to Windsor Castle to see the magnificent State Apartments.After a pleasant afternoon in Windsor we'll continue to our overnight hotel.

Day Two

After breakfast we'll return to London. Our day in the capital begins with our trip to Buckingham Palace. Marvel at the State Rooms - lavishly furnished with many of the greatest paintings, porcelain, sculptures and furniture from the Royal Collection - and visit the spectacular Queen's Coronation 1953 exhibition, which includes The Queen's Coronation Dress (designed by Norman Hartnell) and Robes. Don't miss the new Garden Cafe on the West Terrace, which boasts views over the Garden's famous lawn, or the exclusive range of merchandise available in the Royal Collection Shop. Depending on your departure date you'll also be able to pre-book a tour of Clarence House (August), home to the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, or the exquisite Queen's Gallery (September), which houses treasures from the Royal Collection as well as a fascinating exhibition about Tudor and Stuart fashion. Afterwards, we'll take a short sightseeing tour of some of London's other royal sites before beginning our journey home.
