Get the kids into some culture with a ribbon and dance workshop. The Polka Theatre is also launching a new story writing project and children are urged to get their pens out. Some workshops will be messy so wear suitable clothing.
Chinese Movement and Rhythm: Ribbon Dance

China calligraphy workshop
Explore the art of Chinese calligraphy by taking inspiration from various objects at the Wallace Collection. Make your own calligraphic scripts by using water-based inks on special paper. As this workshop can be messy wear suitable clothing. Suitable for ages 5 and over, an hour per session. Writing the World
The Polka Theatre is launching a new story writing project: Writing the World. Over the next five years children will be invited to write stories inspired by different countries.
