Two double-decker buses have lost their roofs in separate crashes with low bridges in south London last night.
In an accident in Catford, an off-duty driver collided with a bridge in Southend Lane at around 8pm just 15 minutes after a lorry crashed into the same bridge.
The foreign lorry, which was on its way from Catford to Sydenham, suffered extensive damage to its cab and trailer.
While traffic police were on the scene, a Stagecoach bus taking a shortcut to the nearby Catford Bus Garage hit the same bridge from the opposite side. The impact sliced its entire roof off like a can opener.
About a year ago another Stagecoach bus lost its roof in a near-identical accident at the same spot.
The second crash last night took place when another bus struck a railway bridge in Selsdon Road, Croydon, at around 6.38pm. Part of its roof came off, a Met police spokesman said.
There were no serious injuries in any of the accidents last night.
